Phall into Phun 10th Anniversary Party - 10/9/10

Come help the ECPH club celebrate our 10 year anniversary!

"PHALL INTO PHUN"

EMERALD COAST PARROT HEAD CLUB CELEBRATES 10 YEARS OF PARTYING FOR A PURPOSE!!!

Put October 9, 2010 on your calendar!

The Emerald Coast Parrothead Club will be hosting a special 10th anniversary "Phall into Phun" party at Calhoun's Pub to celebrate our 10 years of volunteer work, donations and good friends. Our club started out with a small, dedicated group of folks who wanted to give back to our community and have a blast while doing it.

We can all agree, the founding members of our club did that and more. The Emerald Coast Parrothead Club has grown into a powerful group within our community who business and political leaders look to for support and our patronage.

It is with that spirit we will be throwing the biggest party our club has ever done. We will have music. Lot's of it! We will have food. We will have raffles. We will have auctions. We will raise money. WE WILL HAVE PHUN!!!!

Remember, It's October 9th!!!

All proceeds from the event will go to the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge and the Destin Fisherman's Fund. The money we raise will stay here in OUR community!!! It will be helping those affected by the oil spill.

Look for Special Phun, Games, Auction Items, Drink Specials, Commemorative T-Shirts are being designed to be included in the goodie bags...no stone will be left unturned to make this the party event of the year!  All of this for only $30 per person (non-refundable).   If you do not pre-register and pay at the door, the price for the event will be higher and will not include a long sleeve commemorative T-Shirt.

Our host hotel for this event is
The Inn on Destin Harbor at 402 Harbor Boulevard in Destin, FL.  They are offering us a Parrot Head rate of $89 per night for street view and $115 per night for harbor view.  We are planning an event at the hotel for Friday night, October 8th.  Information will be in future e-mails.

Have you marked out October 9th on your calendar yet? What are you waiting for???

We expect to have visitors from around the southeast join our celebration. Pass the word. Let's make this a huge success for our charities. If you want to volunteer to help out, we would truly appreciate it. Whether it is for an hour or two the day of the event or to help chair one of the committees we will be forming, any time you can give is needed. We will need volunteers for the following committees:

Registration (Check in and hand out goodie bags)
Raffle Ticket Sales (Regular & Chinese Raffle)
Merchandise
Decorations

Please let us know if you can help by volunteering for these committees by e-mailing Larry Phelps, President at emeraldcoastphc@yahoo.com.
