The STARS Southern Trans Am Regional Car Show needs your support for the local Emerald Coast Cancer Society.
Sue Loehr, one of our Members at Large, has provided the following information on the event.
At present they need:
- Sponsors (view the Sponsor Letter - click "SPONSOR")
- Vendors who want to sell to car enthusiasts who come to the show from all over the country (more info will be provided soon - for now, if you are interested, contact the Mark or Belva Parrett directly at: Phone: (850) 863-9516 or E-mail: StarshowinFL@hotmail.com
- Participants in the car show (fill out STARS flyer to register - click "FLYER")
To access a list of classes for the show, click "CLASSES"
Later they will need:
- Traffic directors at the FWB Fairgrounds and
- Volunteers to sit at the door to sell tickets and register people.
The Parretts have been putting this car show together for the past 5 years with just whatever friends they could draft into service. With the Parrot Heads additional support, we should be able to make this a real fundraiser. 100% of the funds collected (after show expenses) goes to our local Cancer Society.
Be sure to let them know you are a Parrot Head when you volunteer!
