Our three local Parrot Head Clubs (Jimmy Buffett fans, for those not in the know) are hosting the 3rd Annual Panhandle PHunFest to support Fisher House of the Emerald Coast. Club members hail from various towns and cities of Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton Counties.   If you are not familiar with Fisher House, this organization provides free or low cost lodging to veterans and military families receiving treatment at military medical centers.  Fisher House is in the building stages and relies heavily on public funding.  Retired Brigadier General Joseph E. Oder, our contact with Fisher House, is excited about our fundraiser!  Their website is: www.fisherhouseemeraldcoast.org  In addition to the different events being held Thursday night and Friday, our Panhandle PHunFest Saturday event will be “parakeet” (kid) friendly with fun activities all day.  We will have great music, food, drinks, as well as arts and craft vendors onsite all day.    Last year, our joint fundraising effort raised nearly $9,000.00 for The Zoo – Northwest Florida.  This year we want to do more, lots more!  And we can with your help and support.  So how can you help?  Hmmm, let’s see…

  • SPONSORSHIP:  Become a Sponsor and get ongoing recognition.  Different levels of sponsorship are available.  We would love to have your Company onboard.  Attached is a flyer detailing Sponsorship levels.  One way to reach your level of sponsorship is with in-kind trade for services.  An even easier way is with a Monetary Donation…

  • MONETARY DONATION:  Let’s face it, money talks.  Feel free to write a check to ‘Panhandle PHunFest’ for any dollar amount.  We are grateful for all contributions.  Please mail any contributions you wish to make to “Panhandle PHunFest”, PO Box 5115, Navarre, Florida 32566.  ALL proceeds from this event are to support Fisher House of the Emerald Coast and are TAX DEDUCTIBLE. The Emerald Coast Parrot Head Club is a 501(c)3 corporation (Pirates on the Panhandle is a brand new club and is currently working to become a 501(c)3 corporation). 

 

  • SET UP A VENDOR BOOTH:  Pay $50 and promote yourself all day Saturday.  Keep your profits, get your name out in the public eye and know you are helping Fisher House.  Details for interested vendors are on our PHunFest website.  With higher levels of sponsorship, you can have a Vendor Booth on Saturday for free!

 

  • CHANCE DRAWING ITEM DONATION:  We need to create quality Chance Drawing Prizes and Packages for folks buying chance tickets.  We would appreciate an item or a Gift Certificate that represents your local business. We will pick up any offering you may have!!

 

  • GOODIE BAG ITEMS:  We estimate we will have 300 Parrot Heads from all over the United States attending our event, and each registrant will receive goodie bags with donated items in each bag.  Ideas for items are key chains, cups, bottle openers, or anything with your business name on it.  This is an excellent way to advertise your business.
